About us

Allambie Heights Kindergarten is a long established, family owned and highly regarded centre in Allambie Heights on Sydney's northern beaches, providing quality childcare by highly experienced and qualified staff.

 

The centre has been in operation for over 50 years and operated by the current owner for over 20 years.

The Centre is accredited under the National Quality Standard.

 

Days of Operation

Open 49 weeks per year. (Closed Public Holidays and 3 weeks over the Christmas Break)

 

Hours

Allambie Heights Kindergarten operates from 8.15am until 4.00pm.

 

Groups

​The Centre caters for 25 children per day.

The 3-4 year olds (Goldfish) attend on Monday and Tuesdays and the 4-5 years old group (Dolphins) attend on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. There may be flexibility in this, which can be discussed with the Staff.

 

Each group is divided into two groups for their Group Learning and Music and Movement sessions.

Parent and Community Involvement

The Centre values the contribution parents and other community members provide.

There is a Newsletter each Term to keep parents informed and opportunities to contribute to your child's education, as well as an End of Year Concert family and friends can attend.

 

Fees
​The 2025 fee is $90 per day. There is a 5% discount for siblings attending.
Fees are payable fortnightly and reviewed annually, or altered with 4 weeks notice.
